CD-R Jukebox Libraries

Plasmon's CD-R Jukebox Libraries are available in 120, 240 and 480 slot configurations. Drive options include two, four or six 12X CD-R drives, increasing on-line accessibility to multiple users over a network and offering a high-performance machine for on-line archiving. All models incorporate a dual-picker assembly that hold two disks at once for improved cartridge performance and faster data-to-data access.

DVD-RAM Jukebox Libraries

DVD RAM is an affordable low-cost, nearline, rewritable storage device appropriate for back-up and archive applications in healthcare, engineering, financial, legal, and digital pre-press environments. Manufactured with two, four or six 4.7GB DVD-RAM drives and 120, 240, or 480 slots.  Optional Network attached server with 20GB hard drive and storage management software is also available.

5.25" M Series Optical Jukebox Libraries

Plasmon's M Series generation of 5 ¼" Libraries are available with 1 to 6 drives and capacities from 182 GB to 4.5 TB. The M-Series Libraries now incorporate 9.1 GB optical drives and dual-picker assemblies (52 slot model and larger) that hold two disks at once for improved cartridge performance and faster data-to-data access. They offer field-proven high reliability with MSBF (Mean Swaps Between Failure) ratings in excess of 1,500,000 cycles and are backed with a one year on-site maintenance program (32 slot and larger).

12" Optical Jukebox Libraries

The 1800 Series of 12-inch Optical Libraries are designed to store large data files in the most demanding of applications. The modular design includes three models: 1602, 1802 and 1803. Each model sets the standard for dependable, high-capacity, and unalterable TrueWORM™ (Write Once Read Many) technology. Using Plasmon 8000 optical drives and media, the 1800 series libraries can store from 870 gigabytes to 4.2 terabytes of data in a permanent archive with a minimum data life of 30 years.

LTO Tape Jukebox Libraries

Brand new to the Plasmon line of products is the LTO Tape Library. Users are able to store enormous amounts of information on a 10 or 21 cartridge Autoloader library - up to 2 TB native. The LTO Series features integrated redundancy to insure high availability in today's 24X7 environments. Both models come standard with a 3 year manufacture warranty as a SCSI Interface. Fibre is available with the use of a Chaparral router.

NetReady

NetReady is a Network Attached Storage device ("NAS"). It takes the place of a file server and third party software to manage automated, removable disk storage appliances. It is best used in entry level to mid-range storage applications where the number of simultaneous users is less than 100, and where a single operating system is used. NetReady offers easy installation, simple administration, and significant savings when compared to software and server hardware.

5.25" Optical Drives

Equipped with a 4MB buffer and an enhanced cache algorithm, the Plasmon MOD910 stores up to 9.1 GB of data and is ideal for high performance applications such as digital prepress, document imaging, digital audio/video editing, CAD, etc. The MOD910 drives supports rewritable, CCW (continuous composite WORM) offering a 25ms seek time and a transfer rate of over 5MB/sec. It is fully read compatible with all previous ISO Standard MO disk generations and write compatible to 5.2 GB or 9.1 GB.media.
